We want to get together with you, our GNN family, so we've put together our first audience trip...and it's a great one.
We're heading to Myrtle Beach, S.C. -- as our Mitch Laurance calls it, the Seaside Golf Capital of the World -- to compete in the World Amateur Handicap Championship, better known simply as the World Am, from Aug. 26-31, 2018.
The World Am is a great festival of golf, bringing together thousands of players in the American city with the most golf courses and choices in the metropolitan area.
Taking part in the World Am means playing 72 holes of competitive net golf on four of Myrtle Beach's best courses, playing with and against players in your tournament flight based on your skill level, age and gender. (If you win your flight, you'll get another round the next day to become the champion of champions!) A daily breakfast is provided, and there are also daily prizes for daily low net, long drive, closest-to-the-pin, closest-to-the-line and holes-in-one.
Then, after each day of play, unwind (with a guest, if you wish) at the world's largest 19th hole at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, where an open bar and heavy hor d'oeuvres await you, as will great bands, golf entertainment and so much more. You can also win some of the $25,000 in randomly drawn golf prizes at the 19th hole, too.
You'll get a gift bag which includes World Am merchandise valued at more than $300!
On top of all that, our Golf News Net group will get a free round of golf ahead of the tournament on Aug. 26 so you can get those first-tee jitters out of the way and get your game right before four fantastic competitive rounds.
Each evening after a stop at the 19th hole, our group will explore Myrtle Beach and check out some of the great restaurants, bars, mini-golf courses and many other things Myrtle Beach has to offer. (Or you can hang out in your room, too.)
For just $525, you'll get:
